A Word about Auditioning

We know how difficult it is for aspiring opera singers to find a venue by which to gain professional experience. Opera Pacifica was created to solve that problem. We provide the sets, costumes, direction, lighting, sound engineering, marketing, advertising, administration and a full professional orchestra to showcase the extraordinary talent in this region.

We have decided to add the ‘understudy’ cast for each show, in order to create more opportunities, and to provide a true back-up cast, ready to perform at a moment’s notice.
When you come to audition know that we are here to encourage you. Bring a resumé and one Italian aria. You have the option of singing an aria from either of the operas above, or one of your choosing. Most importantly, we want you to enjoy the process.
